fiesta
today, is what i call the best day ever! no work, plenty of sunshine and wind, hanging out by the pool! :) and my today is quite the festive day! matt's sister woke up early and got dressed in her pirate costume, complete with a cardboard makeshift ship hung from her shoulders- it was collapsable too! pretty nifty huh? her costume party is at king's park.
and the rest of us have been busy preparing for fred's party tonight! it's an eighties themed party and 80 people have been invited :/ we moved out the table tennis table and cleared the living room, made HEAPS of aeroplane jelly, brought in tables and chairs from someone's place and moved the couches by the pool side, just outside the shed. i think having couches by the poolside's one heck of an idea. ooh and they've got those colourful christmassy lights hung outside too! we've sealed off half the house and the party's only within the laudry room, living room, empty space in the middle of the house and the backyard. i realise i can wear my new shorts with suspenders for the party, they're retro aren't they? :D
i wonder how thrashed the place is gonna be lol.
and in the short span of 15 min by the poolside, matt's dad told us everything we needed to know about wine. how they're classfied, made etc. even aeration technique hahaha.
oh yes, and i think i've been designated the post of pool cleaner .. :/ it's filthy and we gotta vacuum it and it takes two weeks for it to be ready!
hotays, i'm going for a 5 dollar/one hour hair cut laters! :D
to all beanies: have fun at the bbq guys! altho i'm not there, i'll be having a party tonight too and i'll be there with you guys in spirit! :D whoohooo! and kexian, happy very early birthday and very early bon voyage wishes too! :)
on a very side note, i can't believe i'm 20 next year. somehow being 19 and being 20 seems worlds apart.
