well well .. in 3 week's time, uni's gonna be out and im amazed at how things in my life, for the first time ever, have actually gone in a planned manner. things i said i'll do, i did. i feel wobbly thinking about it, that maybe if i think too much about it, it might shift back into original gear and go back to the "all thoughts, no action" mode.

i think i quite deserve a pat on the back :P since i'm stuck on yet another essay this time, worth a grotesquely large percentage of my grades, i shall do a list of my accomplishments to give me some motivation.

thing's i've done so far:
1) UMAT (results that surpassed my expectations)
2) critical appreciation essay (low-range distinction)
3) visual arts essay (high-range distinction)
4) phil essay (high-range distinction)
5) econs mid-sem (HIGH DISTINCTION)
6) english essay (pending assessment)

and whoa, this list really makes my head spin. i can't believe i've done so much! looking back on the jc days, even sec days. this is proly the most iv ever done in my life. 4 essays, 1 test in about 2 months!

uni feels funny. somehow it's a bit magical. things keep getting done! :O i prolly sound completely idiotic but, iv always had this idea since i was young, that if i just chill out and let time do the moving, i'll get to that point in time where i'm over all that crisis. which is prolly why i never ever got things done in the first place. i tend to have this "silver-spoon" mentality, that everything's been written in the stars and i'll have the good life, so i'll just let the stars do their work. evidently, i was wrong. it's kinda like the whole "magic finger" analogy, except i didn't even lift my finger and that they weren't very magical either.

well i'm halfway thru my academic battle it seems.

here's a list of things waiting to be done:
1) visual arts essay
2) phil essay
3) econs essay and presentation
4) exams
5) medicine interview, should i get one and it all depends on my final uni grades :/

whoohooo!

go jolene go!
go jolene go!
