turning 19 :D
first up, happy birthday to me! :) i'm NINETEEN, my last year of being a TEEN!
the initial plan was to stay up till the clock struck 12 and time crossed over to 01/07/2006, but most tragically, i konked out after having slurped down a giant glass of red wine ..
but this is how the rest of the most wonderful birthday ever went!
i was bundled up and thrown into the car at whirlwind speed in the wee hours of the morning (ok fine it was 10ish) and we sped off to the city! darling figured a blindfold was uneccessary since i couldn't even recognize any of the roads haha.
and there my surprise awaited me ..
A SHINY WHITE BOAT BOBBING ON THE GLIMMERING SWAN RIVER .. -widens eyes-
CHIPS AHOY! WHY, A SCENIC RIVER CRUISE TOUR!
it was 3 hours long and absolutely delightful :) perth is so huge! we even caught sight of 2 dolphins that'd swum up the river from the ocean frolicking about! the view was just awesome and the wind also happened to be freezing cold lol. darling just wears a tee shirt out and he feels hot, i find that amazing. our boat began sailing towards fremantle, a port and along the way, we passed by many suburbs by the river.
check out the posh houses! they're just like in 'laguna beach' man! the commentator said that one of the rich guy who owned a house in dalkeith died on his private jet with his secretary and 2 million dollars :P haha, i find that hilarious!
when we got back home, another surprise awaited me! :D
A CAKE! :) haha, that was really nice of them! kudos to darling :)
when it got dark, darling and i decided to make ourselves a gigantic amount of nachos we'd got from the store, IT WAS SO GOOD. yummy! salsa dip topped with melted cheese and sour cream o.O and then we got too ful, we had to go for a walk. and that was funny cus we had to head back several times cus of the cold! first time round, darling needed a jacket (he'd walked out in a singlet .. ). and then he needed socks and shoes. eventually we just got everything we would ever need, scarf, beanies, gloves and what have you heh,

after all that shuffling back and forth, like 10 m away from the house and back, we chose instead to go for a drive to south perth, which in perth speak, means south of the city! the view by the river was magnificent!
this is the city skyline, "and that's about it" hahaha.
well so that was my birthday! :D here's a toast to being 19, everyone! *raises glass*
